Assistant Superintendent
It is truly my privilege to serve as the Assistant Superintendent at West ISD. West ISD continues to operate "with children as our first priority" as we implement a rigorous academic program for our students. The West ISD team has high expectations for our students, and we take pride in the pursuit of excellence. Students will be both challenged and supported as the faculty and staff address the needs of each child that is entrusted to our school. Welcome to West ISD!
I began my teaching career in 1997 at Connally ISD as an elementary teacher and reading specialist. As an employee of West ISD for the past 16 years, I have worked as a teacher of math and later English Language Arts at West Middle School. I completed my administrative internship in West, served as Assistant Principal at West Middle School, and also Principal of West Middle School. My duties as Assistant Superintendent include leading the Teaching and Learning, Technology, and Human Resources Departments.
