The mission of the West ISD Police Department is to help ensure a positive learning environment that is free of crime, violence or the threat of violence, and to uphold and enforce all applicable laws and regulations without passion or prejudice.

West ISD Police Explorer Program 
 
Beginning in August 2022, West ISD is set to offer a new Police Explorer program. The program will include police training, mock scenarios, competitions, ride alongs, court procedure awareness, and assignments at city and district events. To apply, the student must be at least 14 years old, enrolled at West High School, and maintaining at least a 2.0 GPA.
