Legacy West Education Foundation
The Legacy West Education Foundation was established in 2010 to enhance the quality of education for all West ISD students. The Foundation operates independently of West ISD and provides supplemental resources and support for teachers, students and schools.
Mission Statement
The mission of Legacy West Education Foundation is to create and sustain a coalition
of businesses and citizens to support funding for innovative programs and initiatives
which enrich educational opportunities for West ISD students.
Core Beliefs

- To encourage all students to achieve their highest potential in learning
- To provide grants to West ISD educators for innovative classroom ideas to enrich teaching and learning
- To fund special projects to benefit West ISD students, their families and educators
- To encourage higher education through scholarships for graduating seniors
The Legacy West Education Foundation is undergoing a revamp, passing the torch from one group of dedicated parents to the next. Our commitment to enhancing local education opportunities remains steadfast and we can't wait to share more information in the coming months.
