Current West ISD COVID-19 Response Plan for all Summer Programs

Per Governor Abbott's Executive Order GA-36, school systems cannot require students or staff to wear a face mask. With this news, all health screenings, temperature checks, face coverings, and/or social distancing measures are up to each individual student, staff member, or guest while visiting a West ISD campus or office. P-EBT Food Benefits Program Now Open for Eligible West ISD Families

The Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer, or P-EBT, application is now open.
P-EBT is for children who received SNAP food benefits and are certified for free or reduced-price school meals during the 2020-2021 Texas school year. Families could receive up to $285 per child on a P-EBT card to purchase food at stores. For more information, please call (254) 981-2110.

District Announces Plan to Reauthorize the May 2017 District of Innovation (DOI) Plan

During the April 14, 2021, Regular Board Meeting, the West ISD Board of Trustees approved a Resolution to begin the process of reauthorizing the May 2017 District of Innovation (DOI) plan for an additional five years.
