Director of Athletics

Welcome to West ISD Athletics!

My name is David Woodard, and I am the Athletic Director for West ISD. It is an honor and a privilege to serve the athletes, district, and community of West. West has a rich culture of athletic success including team and individual district, regional, and state championships in both the boy’s and girl’s programs. While we value these successes, more importantly, we hope to develop outstanding young men and women in our program. It is our hope that the work we do teaches our athletes to become great husbands, wives, parents, and productive members of our community. Thank you for your continued support of our Trojans and Lady Trojans, and I look forward to seeing all of you at our games.
