Currently, there are 100 fourth grade students and 123 fifth grade students. Our staff is comprised of 34 employees. We have 21 professional staff members, 4 paraprofessional staff members, nurse, 2 custodians, and a part-time counselor and nurse.

West Intermediate School was rated "Recognized" in the most recent accountability ratings. The fourth and fifth grade classes are departmentalized. We have a pull-out Gifted and Talented program, Music classes two days a week, and PE classes meet every day. The campus also offers students the opportunity to utilize technology through two computer labs.
