Student enrollment at West Intermediate School is 189 students. Currently, there are 80 fourth grade students and 109 fifth grade students. Our staff is comprised of 32 employees. We have 19 professional staff members, 3 paraprofessional staff members, 2 office staff members, nurse, 3 custodians, and 4 cafeteria staff members, a part-time counselor and principal.

West Intermediate School was rated "Academically Acceptable" in the most recent accountability ratings. The fourth and fifth grade classes are departmentalized. We have a pull-out Gifted and Talented program, Music classes two days a week, and PE classes meet every day. The campus also offers students the opportunity to utilize technology through two computer labs.
